What Shall I Wear?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in unless told otherwise when you make your appointment. You may need to undress during the assessment / treatments and therefore you may feel more comfortable to bring shorts or a vest top to the session.

What Happens on My 1st Session?
You will be initially asked questions about your current problem, any previous medical problems, any medication you may be taking and how your daily activities are currently being affected i.e. sleeping, walking, driving, your job.

Then the physiotherapist will examine the problem and surrounding areas. For this you may be asked to undress to examine the area fully (underwear or shorts & T shirt must be worn).

At the end of the session the Physiotherapist will explain what your problem is, any underlying causes and what you can do to help yourself. You will usually be given advice and exercises. Where appropriate we will start treating at the 1st session as time allows.
